Ricoh Europe to reveal latest ink jet technology innovations at Inprint 2015

Ricoh Europe, London, 06 November 2015 – Ricoh Europe is set to showcase its latest ink jet technology innovations at the industrial print show, Inprint, which takes place at the Munich Trade Fair Centre from 10 to 12 November.

The Ricoh stand will display the company’s existing ink jet products, ink packaging solutions and new technology – including the first global presentation of Ricoh’s ‘Thin Film’ series MEMS print head.

A series of partner products which feature Ricoh ink jet technology will also be on display at the stand, including those from Cyan Tec (UK), Ardeje (France) and ColorGATE (Germany).

Representatives of the industrial ink jet specialists will be on hand in Hall A6, Stand F31 to demonstrate Ricoh’s expertise, technical support and advanced technology designed to help customers achieve their specific goals in the development of new ink jet based products within the Industrial market. Ricoh experts will show how the interaction between print head and fluid is a critical part of the development and how Ricoh’s open waveform assists optimisation of jetting performance. They will also demonstrate ink jet patterning technology with Ricoh’s Sol Gel PZT solution, proving the concept of jetting a piezoelectric solution for the creation of functional film for use in liquid crystal displays, sensors and other MEMS fabricated high technology industrial applications. This process provides a range of benefits, such as minimising environmental impact, saving on labour time and reducing costs – all key to more effective and responsible working.

Graham Kennedy, Business Development Manager - Ink Jet Business Division, Ricoh Europe, said: “At Ricoh, we pride ourselves on being the ink jet technology partner with a deep understanding of how to best implement added value in manufacturing with components, assembly and integration. Our ink jet print head technology, coupled with our rich manufacturing heritage, provides the Industrial market with the strongest platform from which to free their imagination.

Given the unprecedented rate of technology-led change and ever-evolving customer demands, businesses operating in the Industrial market face more challenges and opportunities than ever before.

Kennedy added: “Industry players have to constantly develop their understanding of the latest technology to ensure their awareness, appeal and relevance. Visiting Ricoh at InPrint 2015 is the perfect opportunity to see how the combination of inkjet technology innovation and partner expertise can prove the differentiator for Industrial businesses now and into the future.”
